Your lawn in central Indiana is normally a mix of cool-season grasses like Kentucky Bluegrass, Fescue, and Rye. They will experience best growing conditions between 60-75 degrees and with adequate rainfall and sunshine. This takes place in early spring and fall.
Indiana routinely experiences dry spells from June to October. If you do not have an irrigation system, we highly recommend having our team install one for your home. Drought and infrequent watering lead to lawn stress, weeds, and die-off.
