It's Official: Summer is Here! ☀️

Meteorological summer officially began on June 1, and the early forecasts are calling for a classic midwest summer! We're seeing potential for warmer-than-average temperatures, lots of humidity, and regular opportunities for rain throughout the season.

While the upcoming heat may have us looking for some shade, plants are entering of their most active growing periods of the year. Keep an eye on newly planted trees, shrubs, and flowers during extended hot spells, and make sure to water often. Now is a great time to make sure irrigation systems are on and working properly (we can help with that 😉).
